Treatment navigation & recovery support

Addiction treatment navigation, recovery coaching and counselling.

One call. We take the referral and do the rest: we work closely with treatment centres across Canada to connect people to the right program, then support recovery with coaching and counselling from Registered Clinical Counsellors.

Alliance clinical and recovery team

Both the BC NDP government and the BC Conservatives have committed to expanding addiction treatment, including involuntary care. Alliance already connects people to treatment and supports a safe return to work.

Intervention

Professional interventionists help families and employers plan and lead a conversation that moves someone toward treatment.

About intervention
The continuum

One provider from first call to return to work.

  1. Intervene
    Plan the conversation
  2. Connect
Right treatment, right level of care
  3. Support
    Coaching and counselling
  4. Monitor
    Objective proof of recovery
  5. Return
    Back to work and life

Your counselling stays private. Our counsellors and coaches never report to an employer without your consent. Monitoring reports are handled by a separate team.

Common questions

How does a referral work?

An employer, insurer, physician, family member or the individual contacts us. We take it from there: we assess needs, work with our partner treatment centres to arrange the right level of care, coordinate admission, and support recovery afterward with coaching, counselling and, if required, monitoring.

Will my counsellor share information with my employer?

No, not without your written consent. Our Registered Clinical Counsellors and recovery coaches do not report to employers. Monitoring reports, where required, are handled by a separate team.

Who can use these services?

Individuals, families, employers, unions, insurers and health professionals anywhere in Canada. Coaching and counselling are available in person or by phone and video.

Can treatment lead into a return-to-work plan?

Yes. Many people move from treatment into recovery coaching and, where an employer or insurer requires it, a medical monitoring program that documents their return to work.
